Ketoconazole 2% w/w Cream is a topical antifungal medication used to treat various fungal skin infections. It contains Ketoconazole, an antifungal agent that works by disrupting the cell membrane of fungi, preventing their growth.

Indication
- Tinea infections (ringworm, athlete's foot, jock itch)
- Seborrheic dermatitis (dandruff, flaky skin)
- Candidiasis (skin yeast infections)
- Pityriasis versicolor (a fungal infection that causes discolored skin)
Dosage and Administration
Application: Apply a thin layer of Ketoconazole 2% Cream to the affected area once or twice daily, as directed by your doctor.
Instructions: Clean and dry the affected skin before applying. Gently massage the cream into the skin until absorbed.
Duration: Typically used for 2-4 weeks, depending on the condition being treated. Even if symptoms improve, complete the prescribed course to prevent recurrence.
Precautions
Allergy: If you develop signs of an allergic reaction (e.g., rash, itching, swelling), stop use and seek medical advice.
