NOVAZIP is a combination tablet that contains doxylamine succinate, pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6), and folic acid. This combination is commonly used to manage nausea and vomiting associated with pregnancy (morning sickness), providing relief from these symptoms.

Indications

Nausea and Vomiting of Pregnancy (Morning Sickness): Primarily used for the treatment of nausea and vomiting during pregnancy, especially in the early stages.

Management of Hyperemesis Gravidarum: In more severe cases of pregnancy-related vomiting.

Dosage and Administration

Route of Administration: Oral tablet.

Typical dose for adults:

o 1 tablet at bedtime or as directed by a healthcare provider. Depending on the severity of symptoms, the dosage may be adjusted.

o If required, additional doses can be taken during the day as prescribed, typically every 8 hours or as directed by a healthcare provider.

Maximum dose: The dosage should not exceed the prescribed amount, usually 1 tablet 3 times a day.
